Latino Parents Faith Formation Classes
On Sundays, the parents of the students in Catecheticism classes are invited to a time of formation in Scripture and human formation points such as: marriage testimonies, parental guidelines for forming the children in values, testimonies of family Advent traditions, and how the parents are to be and can be the first catechists with their children.
We host these classes in the basement of the parish on the first and third Sundays of the month, and every seat is filled! We are most grateful to Fr. Lorenzo for his zeal and passion for the scriptures which he so abundantly shares from his heart with these souls.
Advent Afternoon Reflection
Fr. Joseph gave an advent meditation on the 3 comings of Christ on the second Sunday of Advent. The participants enjoyed lunch together after the 11 am mass, with the teaching, and time of adoration of the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament accompanied by the angelic voice of Laura Wolk, one of our parishioners.
There are volunteer opportunities available at every level and community participation is not only welcomed and invited, but necessary to the community's existence. Liturgical ministries include: Minister of the Word, Minister of Music, Hospitality Minister, Coordinator and Communion Minister.
Active participation in the prayer life and social justice activities of the community is expected of those who are nourished by St. Stephen's. Please call the parish office at 612-767-2430 because we are eager to help you find a place to use your talents as a member of St. Stephen's Church.
